அஷ்டாவக்ர கீ³தா சதுர்தோ²த்⁴யாய:
ஜனக உவாச ॥
ஹந்தாத்மஜ்ஞானஸ்ய தீ⁴ரஸ்ய கே²லதோ போ⁴க³லீலயா ।
ந ஹி ஸம்ஸாரவாஹீகைர்மூடை⁴: ஸஹ ஸமானதா ॥ 4-1॥
யத் பத³ம் ப்ரேப்ஸவோ தீ³னா: ஶக்ராத்³யா: ஸர்வதே³வதா: ।
அஹோ தத்ர ஸ்தி²தோ யோகீ³ ந ஹர்ஷமுபக³ச்ச²தி ॥ 4-2॥
தஜ்ஜ்ஞஸ்ய புண்யபாபாப்⁴யாம் ஸ்பர்ஶோ ஹ்யந்தர்ன ஜாயதே ।
ந ஹ்யாகாஶஸ்ய தூ⁴மேன த்³ருஶ்யமானாபி ஸங்க³தி: ॥ 4-3॥
ஆத்மைவேத³ம் ஜக³த்ஸர்வம் ஜ்ஞாதம் யேன மஹாத்மனா ।
யத்³ருச்ச²யா வர்தமானம் தம் நிஷேத்³து⁴ம் க்ஷமேத க: ॥ 4-4॥
ஆப்³ரஹ்மஸ்தம்ப³பர்யந்தே பூ⁴தக்³ராமே சதுர்விதே⁴ ।
விஜ்ஞஸ்யைவ ஹி ஸாமர்த்²யமிச்சா²னிச்சா²விவர்ஜனே ॥ 4-5॥
ஆத்மானமத்³வயம் கஶ்சிஜ்ஜானாதி ஜக³தீ³ஶ்வரம் ।
