vandē bhāratamātaraṃ vada, bhārata ! vandē mātaraṃ

janmabhūriyaṃ vīravarāṇāṃ tyāgadhanānāṃ dhīrāṇāṃ
mātṛbhūmayē lōkahitāya cha nityasamarpitachittānām ।
jitakōpānāṃ kṛtakṛtyānāṃ vittaṃ tṛṇavad dṛṣṭavatāṃ
mātṛsēvanādātmajīvanē sārthakatāmānītavatām ॥ 1 ॥
grāmē grāmē karmadēśikāstattvavēdinō dharmaratāḥ ।
arthasañchayastyāgahētukō dharmasammataḥ kāma iha ।
naśvarabuddhiḥ kṣaṇaparivartini kāyē, ātmanyādaradhīḥ
jātō yatra hi svasya janmanā dhanyaṃ manyata ātmānam ॥ 2 ॥
mātastvattō vittaṃ chittaṃ svatvaṃ pratibhā dēhabalaṃ
nāhaṃ kartā, kārayasi tvaṃ, niḥspṛhatā mama karmaphalē ।
arpitamētajjīvanapuṣpaṃ mātastava śubhapādapalē
nānyō mantrō nānyachintanaṃ nānyaddēśahitāddhi ṝtē ॥ 3 ॥
